The 2008 Premotsav (Sahavas) will be held from:

Friday, August 1 evening - 7:30 p.m. up to Sunday, August 3 afternoon - 4:00 p.m.

Driving directions from US border to Gurdev Chokkar’s residence:

From border take Highway 99 North and exit at King George Highway North. Take a left on 64th Avenue and a right on 128 Street and then a left again at 66th Avenue and the second right on 127 Street.

Registration for the Premotsav is as under:
Adults: $50 CDN
Youth (12 – 18): $15 CDN
Seniors: $20 CDN
Drop in for a day: $25 CDN

The cost covers the following expenses:

• Travel for our honored guests
• Setting up of the tent and table/chair rentals
• Meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner with snack breaks)
• Music system rental

Any residual funds will be split between Avatar Meher Baba Trust in India and Beloved Archives.

Guest of Honor

Our guest of honor for Premotsav 2008 is Dr. Meherwan J. Mistry.

Meherwan is the eldest of three sons of Roda and Jim Mistry. He grew up in a Baba family in Bombay with his brothers Falu and Sarosh. All three children are fortunate to have contact with Avatar Meher Baba and His mandali during their childhood and teenage years. Their mother Roda was the paternal niece of Framroze Dadachanji, nicknamed "Chanji" by Baba. Chanji joined Meher Baba in 1924 and served as His secretary and as one of His early disciples. It was through Chanji that the entire Dadachanji family came to Meher Baba and became His lovers. Roda Dadachanji married Jim Mistry in 1948 and through her the Mistry family came to Meher Baba.

Meherwan has many intimate stories to share about his family and his life with Beloved Avatar Meher Baba. He is a general surgeon and was in private practice for 23 years. Meherwan and his wife Zenobia, have resided in the United States since 1974. They have three grown children, Rabia, Ayaz and Jamshed.
